Recientemente me pidieron que hiciera"una de esas cosas que tu haces" con el tema de Don Quijote para un regalo. La persona se refería a un canvas con mixed media. Recuerdo que leí el libro durante escuela superior, así que tenía que repasar frases y características. Lo interesante fue el darme cuenta de cuantas frases utilizamos de este libro, cotidianamente. Este fue el resultado:
A few weeks ago I was asked to do "one of those things that you do" using Don Quixote, as the theme. The person was referring to a mixed media canvas. I remembered I read the book in high school, nothing else. So I went into the web and realized, interestingly so, that we commonly use a lot of phrases from that book. Here is the result:
Use un canvas 11 x 14.En la primera capa use papel, cartón, papel estampado y pasta moldeada. Use stencils de números, letras, figuras geométricas y puntos. Utilice pinturas de acrílico, spray color Bloom de Prima y Gelatos en colores azul, naranja y rosa. La imagen de internet. Todo se adhiere con Gel Médium y una capa por encima.Para las sombras se utilizó bolígrafo color blanco, Faber Castell, Artist pen en colores gris, naranja y marrón. La frase se imprimió en Paper regular, se cortó y se colocó sobre papel impreso y luego en el canvas.
I used a 11x14 canvas. In the First layer I used paper, printed paper, corrugated cardboard and modeling paste, also letter, numbers, dots and figure stencils. Acrylic paints, color bloom sprays and gelatins for color. The image from the net. As adhesive I used gel medium, under and over everything. To creat the shadows I used white pen, Faber Castellon Artist Pens in Orange, grey and brown. The phrase was printed on regular paper, matted with letter paper and then on to the canvas
